are all husbands this unmotivated when football season starts?? I like football too but we also have a house to pack (since whether or not we move, we have work to do to the kitchen and rec room) some walls to spackle and paint and I know I can spackle while watching the damn TV. uuummmm......if I'm the only one thats going to do anything to get us ready for this, then we are definitely not moving because I'm already fed up and we havent even had an accepted offer.
maybe I should call and have the cable cancelled...................................................
Big things here usually get done when I tell him I'm going to do it or threaten to hire a handyman *sigh*

ReplyDeleteyou're not alone. I've begun to think that I married THE laziest man in the universe....I think I really have. And threatening a handyman just makes it worse, he really hopes I will so he won't have to do it!!! AUGH! Damn men. I usually suck it up and just do it myself. Holding out in the bedroom until whatever it is gets done is the most effective way here...LOL. To each his own.

ReplyDeleteOMG---here is what gets me.... he's "watching" football, but in reality he's rolled over (facing the WALL) fast asleep sawing logs!! I think I watch more football than he does!!! And he would love nothing more than for me to hire a handy man---I surely did not marry Tim Taylor! LOL! My Dad does most of our "handy work" (things that I can't do myself) and I like it that way because my Dad and I are both perfectionists and at least I'll know it's done RIGHT. But yeah--I say threaten him with hiring a handyman and if that doesn't work I'll come over and help you pack and spackle the damned ceiling. MEN! LOL!
ReplyDeleteWOW, last night Ray spackled the master bedroom! YIPPEE!! Of course, I painted all the hallway trim and packed 4 boxes in the rec room, but at least he's helping!!! Watch, tonight he'll sit back and tell me how hard he worked last night...oooo cynical amy
