BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

They werent kidding!! Yesterday they made the announcement that it was the 1st day of fall and Mother Nature sure didnt waste any time! But I Love this time of year and I cant wait for the leaves to start changing! This year it's my mission to get a great picture of the fall colors on route 3. In the morning they are spectacular! I WILL take my camera and go get lots of nature pics...I need more time outside with the camera. I plan to take Boogie hiking at the battlefield more (he's getting better at doing the trails with me so I want to have him join me more on this) Maybe this is the year I wipe the dust off the skiis!!! That would be GREAT!
What does everyone else look forward to??

    I love autumn too! It's my favorite and we live in the PERFECT area to experience it!!! Skyline is divine too if you hit it at peak! Also---the wineries make for perfect photo ops---that is where I am headed with my camera in early Oct!

    bummer, post is acting up. The wineries would be a fun photo op! I also want to get up to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden..they have an amazing light display once the flowers start to die back. That would be a fun evening trip!

    I love fall too!! I like turning off the a/c and leaving the windows open (not in this rain though...) love the fresh air through the house!

    Fall is spectacular here in the Rocky Mtns too. One of these years I'll make the trip into RMNP *before* the leaves fall... the gold from the aspens are supposed to be stunning (And, I really have no excuse. It's only 45 mins from my door! X-) The leaves here are already changing... lovely.

    If you want outdoor pictures, this is the time to come visit ...hint, hint ;-)

    Amy- I really love hiking, and I don't know if I ever told you but I call Alex "Boogie monster" aka Boogie. hehe Miss all of my mommy friends a lot!
