! Check this out.. They actually started stamping the expiration date ON the eggs! Heehee..it caught me off guard when I saw little writing on my egg before I cracked it. Thought I'd share...anyone else see this yet or am I just the latecomer?

ReplyDeleteI've seen it on eggs before and it freaked me out at first. I'm sure I've eaten a "bad" egg before, so it's good it's there, one more date for my OCD hubby to look at and freak out about. LOL. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! I hear you! I keep eggs until the package is empty...never thought about them going bad unless they got warm. On the funny side, I was unloading groceries one day and mistakenly left the eggs sitting on the garden wall in a safe place until I could get RayRay and the other bags in. OOPS..I saw them in the morning and had to throw them all away....bad amy, no biscuit.

ReplyDeleteI have seen that, once. Funny though, because it was Easter time, and that stamped part didn't take the egg dye...
ReplyDeletei always have to check the expiration date on the outside of the egg container bc we tended in the past to not eat them always by their expiration date
